 - slob-ish guy going for an interview - either he gets it wrong straight from the beginning and wakes up late or it goes wrong some other way e.g., he gets his wallet stolen (most likely this as the conflict can be right in the middle of the film

- race to get to interview on time 

- visual motifs of time throughout the film shots of clocks and watches 

- twist at the end either the place is closed or his job is that of spinning a sign (dig on him for placing so much importance on the job and getting it rather than making fun of the job)

- not a very likeable character but you do want him to succeed after seeing all the effort he is putting in
