Archie: Connor's best friend. Archie originally acts in a kind way being supportive of Connor as he sympathises due to him having faced abuse for his sexuality. sound:

A sombre and calming score is played at the beginning of the short when Connor is applying his makeup to show the sense of ease he feels when he expresses himself in a way that makes him happy. This is cut short when we hear a door open and the sound of his fathers voice. This causes the music to stop as Connor has been snapped out of his daydream to the reality of his life. Ultimately, in the final scene we only hear a deafening ringing which is done to portray to accumulation of Connor's frustration, fear and anger.
